It will be great if you can write down the logical reasoning used to solve this puzzle!
6
6 is not the correct answer to this puzzle as per our logic. If you have any logic which can explain the 6 as answer, please let us know.
I think I have solved it
The first step to find the answer is to count the letters
The second step is to observe if the two outer letters(top left and top right)are consonants.If there's a consonant you add it
and you end up with the result.I think that makes sense.
So the answer could be 9
I am the same person that left comments for the riddle that ends with 742=? and came up
With a different complex solution.
This is a better explanation of what I said
Mercury=9(7letters)(M&Y are consonants)so 7+2=9
Venus=7(5letters)(M&S are consonants)so 5+2=7
Earth=6(5letters)(only H is consonants)so 5+1=6
Jupiter=9(7letters)(J&R are consonants)so 7+2=9....sorry,but I find it difficult to explain my thoughts.
Firstly, Thanks for solving the puzzles on our website and posting detailed comments explaining your answers.
I think, now it's time to reveal the answer. Yes, your answer 9 is correct. However, our logical reasoning to reach this answer is different. We have now posted our answer along with the logical explanation in the post. Check it out.
We hope that you are enjoying these puzzles. Looking forward to your comments on other puzzles:).
I'll live my comments on the next tough riddle.I would like to face a REALLY hard one next time:)
May be I don't understand english but hint 1 says:
"This puzzle has nothing to do with the Planet names."
In my opinion the solution has actually something to do with the planet names.
May be you wanted to say that the solution has nothing to do with the planets themselves, i.e. their sizes or orbits?
P.S.: ... and may be hint 2 is better expressed with:
"the Sum of two numbers"
instead of
"the Sum of the two numbers".
...it was a bit confusing to me...
The answer is 8
Jupiter=6 why? Because there are 6 smaller planets around the perimeter
