I am always looking for feedback to improve this website. This feedback can be anything from layout to any broken puzzle. It will help me to improve this website. Yesterday, I received feedback from one of the readers that the Sudoku puzzle titled XV Sudoku Puzzles (Fun With Sudoku #240) does not match the answer provided. However, if I can the given digit from 7 to 8 then it matches with the given solution. However, the puzzle was unique and can be solved with the given hint 7 without changing anything in the given XV patterns.
This leads me to discover a few things for the XV Sudoku puzzle. Numbers 1,4,9,6 and 2,3,7,8 are related to each other respectively. It means that one can exchange 1 and 4 & 9 and 6 without changing anything in the given XV pattern. A similar one can exchange 2, 3 and 8, 7 without changing anything in the given pattern. To prove this fact, I have created today's XV Sudoku puzzle.
Today's puzzle is the remake of XV Sudoku Puzzles (Fun With Sudoku #240) in which 8 in that puzzle is changed with 7, leading to a change in the solution string completely. In the solution string, all 7 gets changed to 8 and all the 2 gets changed to 3, and vice versa. However the solving path, pattern to XV remains the same. Just try to solve these two puzzles independently to understand them better :).
I am posting this XV Sudoku puzzle in the Fun With Sudoku Series as the 262nd Sudoku puzzle in this series.
