When it comes to Sudoku creation then converse ruled puzzles are one of my favorite puzzles and Consecutive Sudoku top the list. There are many Consecutive Sudoku puzzles that I have created and posted on this website. While creating today's puzzle, I was thinking about whether it is possible to create a Consecutive Sudoku which does not have any given hints. The answer I found is "No". One cannot create a Consecutive Sudoku puzzle that does not have any given hints. We need to give at least one hint in the Consecutive Sudoku puzzle and that hint should not be 5. The reason is that numbers 1-9 are symmetrical with respect to number 5. I mean number 9 can be replaced with 1, number 8 can be replaced with 2, number 7 can be replaced with 3 and number 6 can be replaced with 4 to get the same Consecutive Sudoku pattern. So in case, there is no hint then Consecutive Sudoku cannot be solved uniquely. To make the Consecutive Sudoku unique we must give at least one non-5 digit to make it solvable.
For today's puzzle, I tried to give a few digits possible to make it solvable. In fact, only one hint is enough to make it proceed and solve. However, I have given two numbers to make the hints symmetrical each other. Let's see how much time you take to solve this Sudoku puzzle?
I am posting this Consecutive Sudoku in the Fun With Sudoku Series as the 188th puzzle in this series. Can you solve this Consecutive Sudoku puzzle?
