Yesterday I read the news of the sad demise of Florian Kirch. It was really sad to listen to this news. May his soul rest in peace. Today puzzle Sudoku X is dedicated to Florian Kirch.

Diagonal Sudoku is known by many different names. I have seen this Sudoku being published with names like Extreme Sudoku, X Sudoku or Sudoku X. However Diagonal Sudoku is the most used name for this variation. I have been using Diagonal Sudoku for this Sudoku type for most of the puzzles published here. However, I have also been using other names occasionally to make the readers know about the different names of this puzzle type. This Sudoku is of Medium+ difficulty level.
