For me, Toroidal Sudoku was the most feared Sudoku in the Sudoku Mahabharat 2015 Final. I created this puzzle to get comfortable with this Sudoku variation before the championship. In fact, the Toroidal Sudoku which appeared in Sudoku Mahabharat 2015 Final turned out to easiest one in that round. However, at the end of the championship, we got to know that this particular puzzle was very tough and 8 new hints were added to make it easy.
I earlier named this Sudoku as Jigsaw Toroidal Sudoku to differentiate it from Classic Toroidal Sudoku. However later I changed it to just Toroidal Sudoku after the feedback received from Prasanna.
This Toroidal Sudoku is my 110th contribution to The League of Extraordinary Ladies and Gentlemen.
Rules of Toroidal Sudoku
Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column, and outlined region. Some of the outlined regions wrap between the top and bottom edges, and/or the left and right edges of the grid.
