Sudoku Champs 2015 is the event to select the Indian Junior Sudoku team (under 18) to represent India at the World Junior Sudoku Championships.
This event is conducted in several schools in many cities across India. Sudoku Champs 2015 is conducted in two stages. The first stage is School Rounds along with one online round and the final stage is National Finals. The top 3 from the Indian National finals will represent India at the World Junior Sudoku Championship in Beijing, China in July 2015. The first stage is over now and tomorrow will be the National finals for the participants. The instruction Booklet of Sudoku Champs 2015 is released now and it contains some interesting variations. Logic Masters India has conducted a workshop for the participants selected for the National finals on how to solve sudoku and variants. During the workshop, we found that for Under 12 kids, it was a little difficult to understand new variations with 9x9 size Sudoku. During the workshop in Bangalore, I promised that I would try to create some 6x6 size Sudoku for the variations appearing in the national finals of Sudoku Champs 2015 so that newcomers could understand these variations better. Over the last few days, I have been posting these variations on my blog. Here is the list of these Sudoku puzzles that I created for the practice of finals of Sudoku Champs 2015. I am listing these Sudoku puzzles in alphabetical order.
