This is the variation of very famous puzzle known with many names "Paint by Numbers", Nanograms or Griddlers.
"Paint the Snake" Instructions
Paint some of the square to form a Snake which does not touch/overlap itself (not even at diagonals). The number given outside tells how many how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares with at least one blank square between successive groups. The number outside are NOT in the order in which successive groups appears
