Hitori is a classic puzzle type and it has appeared in many World Puzzle Championships as well as many Indian Puzzle Championships. This puzzle is also known by the name All Alone. However, I will be using the name Hitori while publishing this puzzle as it is an original and more known name for this puzzle type.
When I first got introduced to this puzzle that time I found rules a little complicated and to understand them better I created this easy puzzle. Now I am re-posting this Hitori as the 25th puzzle in Mini Puzzles Series. Can you solve this easy Hitori puzzle?
Rules of Hitori puzzle
Hitori is played with a grid of squares or cells, and each cell contains a number. The object is to eliminate numbers by filling in the squares such that the remaining cells do not contain numbers that appear more than once in either a given row or column. Filled-in cells cannot be horizontally or vertically adjacent, although they can be diagonally adjacent. The remaining un-filled cells must form a single component connected horizontally and vertically.
